Gov. Bill Richardson (D-N.M.)

Bill Richardson, a Democrat, has served as the Governor of New Mexico since 2003. He was the Secretary of Energy from 1998 to 2001, and Ambassador to the United Nations from 1997-1998. Richardson previously served as the Representative for New Mexico's 3rd Congressional District from 1983 to 1997.
